BAROQUE RAFTING AND ARCHERY COURSE

The spirit of this program:

This active program is combining sports experience with a culture monument visit.

Our RaftCamp is situated not far away from baroque chateau in Veltrusy (within walking distance from the RaftCamp).
The sports program takes about 3 hours, the group is divided into teams – the first group starts changing and preparing for rafting while the other one starts with archery briefing. After completing the program, they swap the activities.
Both programs are terminated by a small competition.

Rafting is a modern sport requiring team spirit and co-operation thus it is an ideal activity for school and other groups.

We raft on about 500-meter long man-made canal with many rapids, big waves and eddies.

The program is suited for beginners but can be adjusted to more experienced participants if required.
Each participant is given a safety briefing and professional guidance before being launched down the river.
Participants’ enjoyment and safety are our main concern.

Archery is getting more and more popular both among children and adults. The archery course is run under supervision of an experienced instructor.

During the unusual course you will learn more than the basics of this noble and classical sport.
The program is suited for beginners but can be adjusted to more experienced as well.
You can choose from two kinds of bows based on the hardness of bowstrings. The shooting distance is 15 metres.

Suggested timeschedule

9:00 Arrival to Veltrusy (RaftCamp), meeting with instructors, division of groups
9:00 - 9:30 Briefing, division of equipment, changing.
9:30 - 11:00 First block of the program, swapping the activities.
11:00 - 12:30 Second block of the program, return of the sporting equipment, lunch.
13:00 Transfer to the chateau Veltrusy.
13:00 - 15:30 Chateau and park architecture visit.
16:00 End of the program, return to Prague.
